Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. Board certification requires passing a rigorous examination administered by the leaders in the field. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Ingersoll manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Ingersoll practices an extensive scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery and anesthesia delivery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. We can also diagnose and treat many types of facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures. He has been Board Certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation or outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery. Dr. Ingersoll is Board Certified in Dental Anesthesia as well and very active in continuing education in anesthesia to assure your best experience and safety.

Surgical Staff

The surgical staff at Steven K. Ingersoll, DDS are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in administration of IV sedation and surgery. All staff are informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies, and are CPR certified. Your care and satisfaction are of the utmost importance.
